Beautiful day to be Starfield day. I still think about the first Bethesda Game Studios video game I played, The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion, which came out when I was 16. Really can’t wait to play Starfield today!

Does anyone know of a free financial advisor with whom I can speak about the pros/cons of filing taxes jointly or separately? They have to be knowledgeable about the implications of one partner having a mountain of student debt who’s interested in keeping payments as low as possible.

I've been thinking about the interconnectedness and intersectionality of our struggles, not because my work is deeply intersectional, but because of this transformation in my life, becoming a dad. Abolitionist practice and thought force us to understand we must change everything.

Just started supervising someone for the first time, right when I'm days away from becoming a dad. Big changes! It's a lot! and it's all pretty exciting/nerve-racking lol

Why would you ever think a cop could ever justifiably run a child's head through a windshield, shattering it? How could that ever even possibly be ok? Even if you don't have as strong views as I do about policing and the criminal punishment system. Tell me how that's justifiable.

I don’t know how us millennials made fun of those gen Z tiled tiktoks with simultaneous videos playing at the same time when we’re here, listening to NPR stories, scrolling through insta, and reading a deep dive about a federal indictment all at the same time.

Mayor Adams just yesterday reiterated his opposition to decriminalizing sex work, despite knowing many Black and brown, queer and trans NYers face so much discrimination and violence they turn to sex work to stay alive. Today he feigns solidarity with LGBTQ NYers after O'Shae Sibley's tragic murder.
