As a 500 fanboy I did have a soft spot for these. They were like a much funkier proposition to the Panda and if retro wasn’t your bag, the crisper version of the 500. They also sorted the rear suspension which made its way onto the 500 and improved its handling from 2010 onwards. 👍🏻

Very jealous Ian. Lovely motor. Also, having had may new cars now with TFTs displays and touchscreen brightness at night, the Saab Night Panel is still a gem in my eyes. 👍🏻👍🏻

I’ve not been able to watch this yet as I’ve always had an attachment with this little blue 3 wheeler. From its rescue from a field to its drive home to the factory. I’ll watch this when I can and when I can accept the news. Bye bye TWC. Happy motoring in new hands. You’ve been a Hubnut star ⭐️

Loved this review. Fun fact - I test drove a 2300 back when I was 17 as a candidate as my first car. I found it woefully slow (maybe my teenage leaden foot wasn’t satisfied) Lovely car though in Moonraker Blue. 👍🏻

I have to admit having test driven it that’s it a very accomplished car. Comfy, efficient and nippy. It’s also very well screwed together. It has terrible touchscreen software and no rear wiper, but there has to be some areas that aren’t perfect. Overall though, not a bad little car at all 👍🏻

This is amazing really Ian. I was expecting to hear milk float levels of motor whine, but it was near silent. On a personal note went to see this tonight, the Leapmotor T03. Having a test drive tomorrow. It has a pantograph wiper, so must be good 👍🏻🤣

That’s also a good point. The current Aygo X couldn’t pull the kin off a rice pudding. Defo a different class of car 👍🏻
