Not sure if there is much of a homeschool community on here but OSU is doing research and needs participants. It’s been vetted by CRHE so other homeschoolers have given it approval as well as the IRB. #homeschooling #homeschooled

I'm missing the mountains but we made the decision yesterday that its just too risky to travel at the moment. I had wanted my daughter to get to meet her tia and prima in person and go shopping in la concha for her own little cochabambina outfit but I guess we will have to wait #travelcanceled

My family is a queer one. A trans person was horrifically murdered and tortured literally blocks from where I grew up. By people who had been in the area their whole lives. How can I believe its safe for my child and spouse to come play by the lake or hike in the wood this summer?

My uranium glass came despite the snow! It’s weird to think of it and my eugenic ladies existing in the same space in time .

That was going to part of it! While digging through stuff at the Irish archive and Wellcome I found all sorts of cartoons like this with social workers or Fabian activists coming to peoples homes and fixing their “ignorance” or whatever. My bigger point aside from everything else was that

Flipping through my archive notes while the /child/ and cat watch the snow plows and found my favorite off topic drama I saved from the archive. The actual reason I was looking at the paper was the Anglican response to eugenic sermon requests but the ☕️ of scamming Catholics is 😒 😂

Okay, Fashion History people! Can we talk about Belle's dress in the Muppet's Christmas Carol ? I am convinced it looks like a day wrap sort of dress but maybe i'm nuts? This is mainly a 'i like the style but I don't know how to track down a pattern' thing

One of the many things I’m thankful for today is that Addy has been able to come hang with me at the museum this year 💗 I need to make her some cold weather clothes! She has a cloak so far but that’s it. Fingers crossed she’ll still love history when she’s big!

It’s been a year since Sasha joined our family and I know it’s cliche but as much as we saved her she really saved me after my childhood cat died. Sasha came to us so sick and scared and only weighing 4.8 pounds . we couldn’t even tell she was a ragdoll. Now she’s 9pounds and so fluffy!

Since it’s a rainy day and my child has done nothing but want me to dramatically read her “Cozy Classics “ books let me take you on a journey. All of these books have hand felted people with a single word on each page and then you tell the story Addy’s favs are Jane Eyre, Les Mis and Moby Dick

A one sheet planner that I do first thing in the morning so I have concrete checklist for my executive dysfunction real actual planners I lose all the time but just the act of sitting down with coffee and writing down : laundry fold , floors wash gets it done for me.

My broach today is a replica of a similar piece. These ones were common and often made of cameo materials . Forget me nots or sunflowers were common. As someone who has lost a child via miscarriage it is comforting to know that there is a sisterhood going back centuries. Our babies mattered 💗
