It will destroy millions of life forms that no one has ever seen! There are living organisms in the ocean that could potentially be a health benefit for everyone. Killing off resources before we know what they are is beyond absurd.
Not to mention the incredible diversity of these beings.

I am very familiar with this part of history. Unfortunately it still haunts me that people could be so cruel to people.
