Ears and antennae made! I unfortunately had to cut the stream short because I was oddly hoarse--potentially due to too-spicy soup. Still, progress is progress! Next will be the hair, and that will be very hard indeed.

I'm so happy with how my 3D model is Blendering out. It's not perfect, but it's mine, and it's really really really awesome. The shapes are so good. And I made it! And I get to keep working on it! Tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow! Yippee! So much to do, wahoo! Yay! Hurray!

Did I ever post the proper complete design that I'm using as the reference for my model? I don't think so. There isn't much different, but it's just enough to bug me (heh), so here y'all go:

Her right arm is equipped with a strength-enhancing power arm and both hands have spiked bracelets, knuckle rings, and green-tipped metal claws. Her legs are covered in translucent purple tights, over which is a thigh holster for a ray gun on her left side, clipped to a boot with an armored knee and shin, while her right side has metal armor with a prominent ant head-shaped knee armor. Both legs have chunky spiked anklets.

Ok so I did end up working on stuff a little, but it would not have been streamable, as I spent half the time (minimum) doing Not Blender and going back when I felt like it. The perks of supervillainy, I decide what is allowed! Mwahahaha! Anyway hope this looks alright for now <3

Ant-like alien supervillainess extraordinaire at your service! Given the, well, death of the queen during the attempted invasion, perhaps we could come to some kind of agreement?

She wears an outfit consisting of a dark purple bodysuit with gold highlights, steel spikes tipped in green on the shoulders, a metal underbust corset on top. Her right arm is covered by a powered armor arm, with a glowing purple ball at the upper arm, synthetic muscles and purple power cables at the forearm, and assistive servos over the fingers. The thigh high boot has metal armor on both the knee and the top of the shin. Both ankles have gold chunky rings of metal equipped with spikes, like the ones around her wrists. Each foot ends in two clawed toes, covered in metal.

Guess you could say the first *leg* of making my 3D model has been completed! The anklet was deceptively difficult for something that should have been so freaking simple. I think I'll get back on this next week, but tomorrow is REPO with friends at 9pm EDT, so, please come watch!

Decided to give my #VTuber model a giant robot arm and I think it's coming out pretty good. Still not 100% on the colors, but, personally, I think the design is absolutely awesome :3

The hand is the only relatively complete part, and even then it's not colored in, just lined, with an odd bulb coming out of the palm. The rest of the robotic arm is somewhat transparent and clearly a messy sketch, consisting of a forearm of bulging synthetic muscles with green power lines snaking around it leading to a big green cylinder for the upper arm, a coil within it.

I ended up going with this, following further advice--the gaps mimic where a replete's chitin would be on its honey-filled abdomen! I'm probably going to keep tweaking the exact shape, but I think this is good for now :D

This is what they look like (labeled for close-up of ant eye). That's an intriguing idea, and they are composed of a bunch of small hexagons, but I'm not sure how well that would read when shrunk to a bauble. Plus, the eyes aren't round. Darn bees, stealing hexagons from us!
