it occurs to me that so many of my ratiorine fics are just. the same fic in a trenchcoat and new hat because man the same trope just works so well for them i wanna write it in a thousand different situations but at the same time it makes me feel a little bad that it's the same fic different font lol

Personally i think using chatGPT is unethical on a base level no matter what you’re doing and i wouldn’t use it (given data/energy/ethical concerns), but grammar and spelling checkers (though AI), usually aren’t generative. And using a grammar checker doesn’t compromise the (1/?)

It is not cowardice to need to avoid all this. It feels worse because it is worse this time. Prioritize yourself and your mental/physical health and don’t let the scolds bother you. They’re not you and have no idea what you’re going through.
