This was part of an exploration into how to design virtual space for a sense of shared place.

I was interested in two facets: persistence and simultaneity. Seeing when other players alter the scene in realtime, and returning the next session to find those things right where you left them.

Workshop dates: 11 - 21 January (fully asynchronous, coordinated via email/Discord & virtual whiteboard), >10 minutes per day. Participants will share anecdotes about long-distance relationship practices on the board, & respond to each other.

We aim to support a playful, relaxed experience!

It'll be my first time organising a workshop, let alone a remote/distributed one. We shall see what comes of it!
