We deplore racist attacks at home for the same reason we deplore genocide abroad: we believe in the equal value of human life.

We will keep marching.
We will keep organising.
We will keep speaking up.

Until there is a permanent ceasefire.
Until the siege is lifted.
Until the occupation ends.
Until apartheid is dismantled.
Until the perpetrators of genocide are held to account.
Until Palestine is free 🇵🇸

Can't help but feel the universe is therefore thinking "I let my big bang down, I let my stars down, I let my planets down, and ultimately I let myself down." Hopefully it's understanding itself through all the non-human life instead and blissfully ignorant of us... the shadow part.
We are the cosmos made conscious and life is the means by which the universe understands itself.

1. Because this issue is critical, but has received remarkably little coverage, here's a thread pulling out the key themes from my article yesterday, on the Planning and Infrastructure Bill, which puts decades of environmental protections to the torch. 🧵 www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...
Labour’s great nature sellout is the worst attack on England’s ecosystems I’ve seen in my lifetime | George Monbiot
The horrifying planning bill, which rips up environmental protections, was drafted with CEOs in mind. We know because Keir Starmer told us, says Guardian columnist George Monbiot

I also suggest an alternative route, a politics of belonging, in which political power and control of local resources are returned to communities.
Why is Keir Starmer's government adopting policies that look perfectly designed to prevent its re-election? This column seeks to unravel the mystery and explain the fundamental forces that now govern our politics. www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...
How has fascism in Britain got this far? Neoliberalism has opened the door for it | George Monbiot
We need a new politics of belonging, not Labour’s craven appeasement of capital, says Guardian columnist George Monbiot

The level of repression in the U.K. is now at alarming levels.

A genocide has been taking place for 18 months, assisted by our government. We should all be taking resistance to the next level. Solidarity with Youth Demand and all who are.

‼️ BREAKING NEWS: 9 ARRESTS AND 12 HOUSE RAIDS IN UNDER 20 HOURS ‼️

Arresting those for attending a welcome talk is an unprecedented level of police repression that has never been seen before in the UK. Repression means the state is nervous and we are winning.

I took ten minutes of my day to tell this establishment a little bit about the reputational damage hosting an event could do in a small country like Ireland. I'm not trans or gay or a member of any minority. I'm just a plain-vanilla middle-aged white-guy who believes there's no place for hate.
The “Natural Women’s Council” is hosting a conference in Johnstown on April 5 topic is “resistance to transgender indoctrination”

Notable TERFs + transphobes are speaking. Contact the venue and let them know: platforming hate is not neutral.

As mass murder and genocide escalate in #Gaza, the UK government should denounce them, cut off all support to Netanyahu's government and assist in its prosecution. Instead, Starmer silences his ministers. In doing so, he facilitates the crimes.
