Also as a non-TTRPG little snippet, check out this screenshot from my proper game with @jonnysixtyfour.bsky.social . Enemies stalk the woods - but it’s really nice they have obvious flaming torches so you know just the right moment to duck behind cover and stealth away!

After some thought and feedback, I’ve replaced the blue UI pulse on a perfect parry with a bit more screenshake and an FOV ‘pulse’ on a successful parry. Keeps things more dietetic and lets you know you’ve clearly avoided taking damage 🥰 (video cropped: Bluesky seems to hate the full width of video)
