From temperance lodges to temperance parades, Black people have not only practiced different forms of sobriety since the late 19th and early 20th centuries, they advocated for it! And made it more accessible for everyone to practice despite the color of their skin.

❗️We did it (for now)! ❗️

Our lawsuit was successful - US district court is blocking OMB from moving forward on its reckless plan to halt federal funding.

The stay is until Monday, so still much more to do.

For now - take a breath, take a rest, and buckle up - we’re not done.
