My wife has been HIV+ for 34 years. What we do with that is our choice. To believe which pronouns we refer to someone by, what they wear, or which changing room we ask they use is dictated by biology is itself a kind of superstition - it pretends our choices are written in the laws of nature, when really they are in our hands

The irony here is that this reveals you don’t actually know what a man or a woman is. You (I presume) believe biology just hands us the social categories of ‘man’ and ‘woman’. But all biology gives us is anatomy and endocrinology.
