I didn't have to kill myself for you to love me

I know this is not a unique observation but public health was basically created to deal with the Spanish flu, and then a century later COVID hit and killed twice as many people and our response was to destroy public health

Something that I find both sucky and funny is how sometimes my creativity can just conjure up vibes but nothing too specific.
This is bad enough for me as a writer, but it becomes extra inconvenient when I want to commission an idea I have to an artist.

Am I an awful person for liking how people come to me whenever I express how deeply in pain I am? Am I awful for using my own pain as a means to get the love and attention I desire? People seem more eager to come to aid a wounded being than a healthy one.
