By the time of clearing Final Episode twice for the two endings, CotM2 overstayed its welcome in the same way as Mighty Gunvolt Burst. It goes without saying: Less is more. I’ve never felt so weary with Inti Creates until recently, so here I am. All of the cleared save files to date in one clip!

At worst, CotM2 constantly undermined itself with uneven difficulty spikes, inconsistent pacing and weird gameplay choices (Zangetsu nerfing himself for lore's sake?!?). Moreover, the new characters and stage designs aren't as interesting. The bosses were too gimmicky and chaotic for its own good!

Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon 2 All Episodes CLEAR! I'm not sure what to make of the direct sequel at this point. The way I see it, the game felt overdeveloped and undercooked at the same time. When it's good, CotM2 was carried by the gameplay, controls and audiovisual aspects for the most part.

My cherished personal gaming feat: GBA Astro Boy: Tetsuwan Atom Omega Factor Hard Mode CLEAR! It was worth facing so many deaths in achieving that feat especially. It remains a personal GBA favorite and one of my favorite Treasure games. A neat gateway into checking out Tezuka Osamu’s other works!

My cherished personal gaming feat: GBA Astro Boy: Tetsuwan Atom Omega Factor Hard Mode CLEAR! It was worth facing so many deaths in achieving that feat especially. It remains a personal GBA favorite and one of my favorite Treasure games. A neat gateway into checking out Tezuka Osamu’s other works!

A recent feat with Huntdown Story Mode Normal, Hard & Badass 100% Clear! Taito’s Elevator Action and Namco’s Rolling Thunder particularly came to mind, mainly their ‘90s sequels in terms of gameplay and pacing. An indie 2D action game that I thoroughly enjoyed from start to finish!
