What I've always found a bit concerning is how in @10xgenomics.bsky.social scRNA-seq, anything with >1000 UMI or >500 features is considered a "cell transcriptome", i.e. most of those few detected genes will be quantified based on 1 or 2 reads. How really useful such measurements are expected to be?
