I think they are attracting traditional FG/FF people who think the Government is too progressive but haven't fallen down the conspiracy rabbit hole as yet. It's a protest vote for them. They expect FG/FF to get back in & perhaps see Aontú replacing the Greens and being a handbrake for certain issues
