Yes. Herd immunity is when sufficient numbers of the population have been vaccinated against a disease in a timely fashion. Even their concept is null and void when viral mutations rapidly continue unabated and reinfection is the rule rather than exception.

You will have some smaller amount of long term immunity ongoing and immediate response sort for 3-4 months before it begins to wane.

As the vaccines provide ≈3-4 months of immunity & there is a twice yearly increase in Covid, then the policy is the thing in error without regard to some US article announcing a devastating policy here that would prevent most from receiving any vaccine. But thank you for your generous input.
