Super pumped crowd in San Diego for the No Kings protest today. And @sarajacobs.house.gov was giving out high fives!

Guessing they didn’t stop, either.

The latest crash on 33rd Street for those following along! Yesterday between Upas and Thorn. The road humps have helped, but this small residential street can't safely facilitate heavy volumes of traffic going to/from the 805. Waiting on Transportation Dept to address our October recommendations.

Appears to be major injuries for a cyclist at Upas and Grim last night. Anyone know the status of the cyclist? Link in comments to Nextdoor post for those in the neighborhood.

Just like that, huh? I thought you were supposed to just send thoughts and prayers.

No problem, I’ll walk the stroller into the busy street so you don’t need to be inconvenienced, Mr. Driver. #NorthParking

The Creepy Creeps playing Sonofest has to be the most iconic local mashup of band and festival.

Wut. This bridge existed? Could have been repurposed into a much needed bike and ped bridge connecting North/South Park with Balboa Park.

Local business owners (Grand Ole BBQ, Santos Coffee, Thorn Brewing, Headbang Salon) met with CM Whitburn and NPPC members today to discuss pedestrian safety improvements at known dangerous intersection 32nd and Thorn. Love Whitburn’s personal commitment to safe streets!

These tables are killer, and I wish we could have gotten this design approved in San Diego. But SD Fire will only approve "speed lumps" with 18" gaps so as not to impede emergency vehicles. Or, you know, just "vehicles". Still, they have made a big difference.

For my first post, here's a bunch of drivers blowing the stop signs at 33rd & Redwood yesterday because no one's telling them they can't. This is a 4-way stop in the middle of a residential area with kids everywhere. Word's out that SDPD is understaffed and can't do traffic enforcement.
