You should do it. My rig is for gaming and the Affinity Publisher runs well. Only thing is the updates every once in awhile but that's only a minute of wait, if that.

Nice. I use Affinity Publisher for my DND projects. It was a learning curve but it's good enough to publish materials.

I have Rip, my folks, and writing. That last one brings me joy, even if it doesn't bring a lot to my bank account. If I didn't have those, I'd probably be dead.

Friendships ... I really don't want to go there. I don't really talk to anyone I used to, save for folks I play D&D with online. It sucks and it's lonely. But I got a cat a few months ago and it's the best decision I'm so glad I did. I'd kill for Ripley and she'd kill for me

Actually the novel I was working on I was at the last rewrite but I want to go in a different direction so I'd be starting at square one.

One thing I haven't done is create a space for writers and creatives relating to wellness and mental health. I want to do it, but I don't know where to start

I still use my journalism degree, just not in the typical way. I use it for worldbuilding, character crafting and my exp. has helped me come up with plots. I still need to write that "Small Town Mayor is a Serial Killer story."
