I called #Texas Speaker of the House #DustinBurrows to register my horror at the retaliatory actions the Texas #MAGA/PutinG☭P has taken against the #Democrats.

Since I don't have the oratory skills of Rep. Jasmine Crockett, I had to write my spiel.

Here's what I said:
It's quite unnerving that the Texas maga GOP is trying to force Rep Nicole Collier and other Democrats to obtain permission slips and seek a personal Department of Public Safety escort to leave the chambers in retaliation for their resistance to a racist redistricting gambit that is being done at the behest of an adjudicated rapist, 34-count convicted felon, who tried to violently overthrow the US government while advocating for having the sitting vice president of the United States lynched and hanged. I'm talking about Donald Trump, who is a probable Russian asset, who was a very close friend of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, convicted child predators. Trump is also exhibiting worsening symptoms consistent with a dementia related illness. This is why Rep. Collier is defying your redistricting plans and your overarching fascist actions. Get off your fascist and abusive high unicorns, or we the people will disabuse you of those notions at the ballot box. Stop your perverted exploitation of law enforcement and the rule of law.
