Again, you claimed that you notated the output of your patch, so in that case I will admit to being wrong, but I never heard it, admittedly my (maybe mistaken understanding of the code)
I sincerely apologize for upsetting you or implying that I was disparaging your work as I was not

But without being able to hear your max/msp patch, it looked like you were jdoing modulos off a common count which would be the former.

A polyrhythm is where within measure(s) the note lengths are altered so that they fit within the grouping.
The notations you posted clearly fall into the latter.

If there is a common pulse (so note lengths are the same) but each voice’s measure has a different numerator, then it’s a polymeter. Each voice’s pattern will shift against each other until they line up at their LCM

I really debated about replying as this is tedious and I doubt my reply will satisfy you. But I’ve had enough beer so ok. 😂
And I’m happy to be shown wrong.

lol, I understand what it’s doing :) it’s just not a polyrhythm. Sorry, don’t want to be pedantic (I’ve written a lot of music software that explores complex rhythms)

Polymeter != polyrhythm, but still very cool

It’s a cool enough sounding synth , but this video with every dude making his “O” face while playing is kind of off-putting

$7k is certainly out of my budget, but it is a limited edition (only 74 being made) so not surprising.
Then you can easily go spend $20k+ on a classical 🤷♂️

I like the 16 horsepower mention, but I think I like wovenhand even better. My connection is not as cool as Timothy’s but David Eugene Edwards was one my PDX friends roommate when he lived in Colorado.
