what are those two semimodulars youre running?
August 8, 2023 at 6:21 AM
this is extremely based and ive toyed with the concept of throwing together a mini PC out of old parts in a box running VCV with a bunch of pots hooked up to a micro controller

oh mty fuckng god
July 28, 2023 at 9:48 PM
i think isaac brock would sing to this track :3
July 28, 2023 at 3:54 AM

July 28, 2023 at 3:26 AM
holy shit this is so good
July 28, 2023 at 3:26 AM
this wouldve been a valuable contribution to the banana discourse i think

or not and there would just be an infinitely thin slice of a person floating around lol
July 28, 2023 at 2:32 AM
although... that infinitely thin slice in which they are still intersecting with their original plane of existence could still interact with them... i suspect that that thin line would get "knocked" out of place and they'd get cut in half
July 28, 2023 at 2:31 AM
well in the hypothetical you basically have full control over how this rotatio nworks. you can either rotate the position and not the velocities, in which case yes everything will spill out, or rotate both, in which case the person suddenly is like... well, tilted as fuck
July 28, 2023 at 2:30 AM
oh I see. I interpreted the original question as rotating someone through 4D spacetime. instead this is a situation where we imagine there is a fourth *spatial dimension* that is essentially inert, up until that moment.
July 28, 2023 at 2:29 AM
ok right off the bat the premise is flawed. novel behavior occurs at higher dimensional levels. you simply can not assume that it's just "the same." for anything. lots of physics is different. like a lot.
July 28, 2023 at 2:25 AM
ill have to think about this lol
July 28, 2023 at 2:24 AM
does the "thing" in question have extension over time?
July 28, 2023 at 2:22 AM
these kinds of moments are the only reason i am getting a physics phd

July 28, 2023 at 2:00 AM
yes, necessarily.
July 28, 2023 at 1:59 AM
oh damn its been 2 months good thing I scheduled an appointment...
July 26, 2023 at 3:45 PM
i just keep hearing a lot of anti-spiro sentiment and im curious why / why other stuff is better
