This year I will keep trying new experiences, many I've wanted to for years. As part, I want to go through AT LEAST 1 new game and movie each month.

If Rebecca Heineman is unknown to you, please look up as much about her as you can. She is a wonderful, mostly unsung figure in games history. She also near the end of her life. There's some beauty in the ability to announce it, but so sad to see her chapter closing. I will miss you Burger Becky.

"Valve has entered the console wars" is such an ignorant and, frankly, stupid view on Steam Machines. These are devices for a "post-console" future. Arguably, it's the present.

I personally know of at least six switch consoles that were sold because of Animal Crossing New Horizons alone. Announcing this update now will put a lot of switch 2s on Christmas wishlists. It's wild to think that this one game has the legs to be a significant selling point for two Nintendo systems

The next "Xbox" won't be a console, but a proprietary mid-high range gaming PC without exclusivity. This WOULD be a smart move since PC hardware is plateauing and consoles need to bridge the gap, but they're doing this to save themselves. So they will overcharge, underdeliver and be very unpopular.

I got so tired of trying to find clothes that look good on the male player character in Pokemon Legends: ZA that I just said "fuck it, he's trans now".

We don't know if Nintendo produced this in-house, but I cannot help but see it as Nintendo Pictures first short that serves as a taste for their creative future in film. This feels so much like Pixar's early work.

I have to imagine that originally Retro Studios must have given Samus a "turbo ball" ability to zoom around the world. Can't wait to hear the story of how someone on the team one day just said "No! We're giving her a bike! Suck it!".

I got the NZXT Flow H6 PC case from Newegg. It has deep scratches on the front glass UNDER the protective film. I hated to do it, but I asked for a replacement and told Newegg it was a manufacturing defect.

20 years ago I could ask my phone "what's 18 hours from now?" and immediately get an actual, factual answer. Now I get an AI overview with a possibility accurate equation to figure it out myself. AI isn't a new thing, it used to do everything it's claimed to now. Everything is worse on purpose.
