Based on what we’re hearing about the process, it sounds like any hacker or spy who wants access to a federal facility just needs to toss a cheap ill-fitting suit on a nearby teenager and have them show up claiming to be the new DoGE auditors.

Losing NOAA would be devastating. Project 2025 authors want to get rid of it because it monitors climate change, and privatize the information it currently provides for free, so you'll have to buy information about the weather and the winds (imperative for mariners).

I went to my Congressman's local office today. First off, they were surprised that I was there. They said they had been getting phone calls, but I was the first walk-in. That said, the phones were not ringing off the hook. If the DC phone lines are busy, try calling the local office.
