Great thought. I am SO looking forward to watching it, but life has slapped me in the face recently. Hopefully will have a chance to catch it in a couple of weeks!

If she falls on a blood thinner, she could also have a brain bleed

So many options and nuance. Hope this sparks some ideas!

The stroke could be something like a facial droop the surgeon tries to even out with botox on the other side so both sides are equally droopy (botox wears off in a few months, ps), slurred speech, numbness, weakness, blindness, vertigo, etc. it could even kill her

A blood clot in the leg will go to the lung. A blood clot in the heart can go anywhere.

Many patients w afib are started on blood thinners to prevent things like a stroke, but you shouldn’t have surgery on blood thinners. If she is, she could have bleeding. If she’s not, she could have a stroke 🧵👇

You can reorder them or change their severity

Pneumonia can cause a cough, fever, and shortness of breath

A blood clot in the lung can cause chest pain and shortness if breath, or kill you if it’s big enough

Afib will cause palpitations and puts you at risk for developing a blood clot 🧵👇

Alrighty, here’s a few ideas:

- pneumonia from intubation during surgery (reused/nonsterile equipment)
- blood clot (leg swelling > pulmonary embolism)
- fat embolism
- fluid in the lungs
- skin infection/abscess
- palpitations from afib from electrolyte shifts > blood clot in the heart > stroke

Everything’s on a spectrum. If you took an extra nyquil or something you wouldnt explode, but the likelihood of badness increases

So lets say she survives, then 2 weeks later pushes for a repeat procedure too early. She might not die, but increased risk of complications. What do you WANT to happen?

I physically cannot bend my acoustic G string enough for johnny b goode to sound good(e)

Memorized the minor pentatonic. Learning a few solos (got acoustic Layla down with about one error per play)

I sold my strat in residency since i never had time to play. Much harder to hit the bends on my taylor

Last week I would have definitely tried to hang out with you.

Are you perchance in LA for, like, 3 weeks?

Good luck, and hope you don’t need to use it!
