Dad, Evertonian, Web stuff. Politics at a push.
“Musk has gone relatively quiet on politics in recent months, but Tesla’s European business has not recovered, signaling more fundamental problems.”

Or, you know, people remember.

Brand damage is permanent.

The article is about the UK matching the EU’s new, higher standards. Being in France won’t save you!

That and we missed him massively today.

Three years is enough time for the policy to be revised or quietly dropped.

We need to change the culture.

We don’t need billionaires, it’s poisonous to society.

If people really need more money than they can spend, they’ve still got plenty of aspirational scope in becoming an old fashioned millionaire while leaving more money to go round for everyone else.

I’d love to read the original screenplay. I know he’s credited with ‘saving,’ it - but I’d like some sense of what he saved it from.

There’s plenty to discuss about how Starmer has gone about his time as Prime Minister. There are plenty of stories worth writing.

This isn’t one of them.

In fairness, the discount sticker means it didn’t sell - so the British public deserve some credit for refusing it.

Is the answer because he’s read them like everyone else in the world?

A huge tranche of them were released last week.

What kind of headline is this?

I have no way of knowing anything about her behaviour off-camera, but I do find her interviews with non-political figures occasionally awkward. Maybe it’s a social awkwardness that manifests in behaviour that could be construed as bullying.

I thought it was actual Lego from the thumb, and wondered how that could possibly be cheaper than traditional methods!

Looks great in principle, though. Love the idea of sending them a CAD file and getting a kit and instruction book back.

Russia AND Trump both have a problem with the BBC?

Hard to imagine a better validation of it as a valuable institution.

The up-yours gesture from the guy in front sets the whole thing off nicely.

Yes, the necessarily public fallout is unfair on Eugenie and Beatrice.

But the advantages bestowed on them
by birth were also unfair.

If you ride the highs of obscene privilege you also have to endure the lows.

Everything about this makes the Royal family seem like an ongoing terrible idea.

Putin’s choice of Hungary is precisely because it’s difficult to achieve.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he insists on a Russian fighter escort, just to make it more difficult.

All he’s interested in is stalling - and he can blame the European states in his flight path for the delays.

You can’t headline this with a line from a TV show!

Photoshop has been available for almost 40 years. AI might make it quicker, but faking images for determined parties has been trivial for decades.
