I hear ya there! I was hesitated at first thinking it would be a “dated” experience but the pixel art just works so well with that timeless gameplay!

Wrapped up Link’s Awakening (Switch2) is stunning to look at, but a frustrating play. Gorgeous toy-like visuals pulled me in, but vague progression, constant backtracking, and outdated design wore me out. Unless you’re a diehard Zelda fan, it’s hard to recommend 😒 #gaming #nintendo
