Conservatives continue to overperform their polling, however, the outcome we are seeing is within the 68% likelihood range of the 338 and The Writ's projections. Projections were not too bad, though the geographic differences are interesting to consider.

The problem is with this heavy state of politicization, when a simple expert opinion or scientific assertion, such as recommending a vaccine, can be seen as taking a political stance. Now that I am in the public service, I understand that experience of self imposed “chill”.

I read the guidelines referenced today, and note that we can engage in political activities, but with the caveat, "so long as it does not impair, or is not perceived as impairing, the employee’s ability to perform their duties in a politically impartial manner." not sure how that plays out

Nice infographic! But the guidelines for disrupting the flow of misinformation focus on a more rational mode of argument, rather than recognizing and seeking to address more challenging affective elements regarding how people feel and are made to feel by misinformation. That's the big challenge.
