@mndot.mn.gov estimates every St Paul-Chicago trip by train, instead of car, saves $296. $88 comes in social benefits-safety, emissions and crash reduction. The rest goes to the rider, due to reduced cost of operating a personal vehicle. Increased rail service is a no-brainer! @hsrail.bsky.social

Saint Paul Union Depot used to see 300 trains a day.

We're working to restore service and expand fast, comfortable, frequent intercity passenger train services within and beyond Minnesota. Where would you like to be able to go by train?
There is still time to register for our annual meeting this Saturday!

This Amtrak Borealis train to Chicago has been fully sold out the entire trip.

The route to Fargo would run during the day and could use the same Empire Builder route as Chicago to Seattle. The route to Kansas City could eventually connect Minnesota with Texas, allowing riders to bypass Chicago when heading west.
Did you know we are advocating for TWO new passenger rail routes?

We're garnering support from key leaders for additional passenger rail service between Twin Cities ↔ Fargo and new service between the Twin Cities ↔ Kansas City.
You won't want to miss important updates from All Aboard Minnesota, state legislators, and other officials at our annual meeting.

You'll have an opportunity to share your thoughts around passenger rail, and members will vote in board elections. Lunch provided!

All Aboard Minnesota attended the annual meeting of the Midwest Interstate Passenger Rail Commission (MIPRC) in September at Union Station in Kansas City, Missouri. MIPRC has been facilitating collaboration around passenger rail improvements in the Midwest for 25 years.
Another busy fall day at the Red Wing Amtrak Station with passengers headed south toward Winona and beyond at about noon. The northbound train from Chicago arrives daily in Red Wing about 6 pm.
Like Minnesota, the state of Missouri has a state-supported passenger train - the Missouri River Runner - connecting Kansas City and St. Louis, stopping at eight cities in between.

Join us in advocating for more state supported trains including St. Paul to Fargo and the Twin Cities to Kansas City.

All I want is a train from St. Paul to Kansas City.
Would you like to take a train from St Paul to Albert Lea? What about from Faribault to Des Moines? The re-establishment of train service between the Twin Cities ⇆ Des Moines ⇆ Kansas City is possible.

I would very much like to be able to take a train to visit family in Iowa vs. that boring drive down I-35 and back.

With a Projected ridership of over 190,000 per year, this corridor has the greatest potential ridership of any Midwestern passenger rail route.

The train is the way to travel. Cheaper than airlines, or a greyhound bus, stations are in well lit places mostly, and there ride is comfortable.
