d) London is a diverse city and Labour is a racist party

They’re just announcing policies to remove the right to a family life and inhuman treatment from asylum seekers.

Labour’s values are much closer to Farage than they are to you or I

So bear in mind that when Labour are calling for these changes, what they mean is that it’s ok for some people to be treated inhumanly, as long as they’re migrants, and that some families should be destroyed, again as long as 1 or more of them is a migrant, no matter what the effect on the children

Partly because Labour at least somewhat challenged those narratives back then, rather than now, when they tell voters that Reform is right about immigration

Mate you used horseshoe theory as a hashtag, you’re in no position to complain about dumb memes

Must have been nice for him to speak to a proper journalist for a change

Tell you what, why don’t you go and ask for them and send them to me
November 14, 2025 at 2:16 PM
Sorry are you being serious?

From their profile pictures and bios.

We’re talking about a certain group of high-volume posters on bluesky here; everyone else in the group knows exactly who is being talked about.

If you find many Starmer superfans on here who are younger or from ethnic minorities, feel free to point that out
November 14, 2025 at 12:52 PM
They’re not exactly hanging themselves though are they?

There is no strategy. I’m sorry but there’s none.
November 14, 2025 at 12:21 PM
Any trust I had in Starmer on human rights left long ago, considering his approach to Gaza
November 14, 2025 at 12:15 PM
Elon Musk is using X to promote racist violence on British streets.

Trump is trying to bring down the BBC.

Reform are taking dodgy money from the above bad actors.

Starmer has done nothing about any of them, and had instead cosied up with organisations like Palantir

Most of Starmer’s ride-or-dies online are though, which is what he’s referring to

Saying ‘the other options are worse’ is what has got us into this position though.

What refugee charity do you volunteer with? I would love to volunteer too!
November 14, 2025 at 11:52 AM
What you’re doing here is accepting the right wing framing of immigration as a problem to be solved by cracking down on it.

And removing human rights is never an acceptable course of action.

I feel like while explicit (or barely concealed) racism has always been a big part of Labour politics (look at the Home Office right now) there’s also a deeply paternalistic bent to a lot of the attitudes of people in the party, not least that they feel they’re owed the votes of minorities
November 14, 2025 at 10:40 AM
Like seriously the racial element absolutely cannot be dismissed. Whiteness is absolutely central to these peoples’ politics
November 14, 2025 at 10:32 AM
I think you’re deluded.
November 14, 2025 at 10:27 AM
Gordon Brown didn’t scapegoat and strip human rights from refugees like this government is doing
November 14, 2025 at 10:27 AM
Invariably white middle class retirees
November 14, 2025 at 10:25 AM
Even the post you originally replied to on this thread accepted this. Come on mow.

You can’t just pretend all news you don’t like is made up as part of a grand conspiracy which literally every news source from the Guardian to the Spectator is in on
