AOC: If Senator Fetterman or anybody else is concerned with law and order, we should be looking at one of the most law breaking agencies and administrations that we've seen in the United States.

I tutor kids in reading, and I explored my library's kid's section for the first time this past weekend. A gold mine! An actual gold mine! Libraries are great places.

No, seriously, I'm trying to lock in and just...can't.
I came to the coffee shop to work and forgot to bring my headphones. Now I can ~hear~ things. How am I supposed to focus??

This warms my heart.
Thank you, I’ll have plenty! I used to crochet a long time ago and just started knitting a few weeks ago.

It’s been a great way to stop doomscrolling and reflect 😌

I’ve finished a Sophie scarf and have started a sweater. (I’m waiting for more purple yarn & am casting on a new cardigan as I wait 🫣)

Okay, posting again this as a message to myself (but for anyone who also needs to hear it):

1. When the news makes you feel paralyzed, close the window. Take a break. You can't help if you're overwhelmed.

2. Focus on the things in your control and take ONE action. Just start w/ a small one.

ANYWAY, sorry, here's a bird. Pause and regard the bird. The bird is happy, for the bird has found a peanut. May we all find the small joy of finding a tasty snack today.
