someone finally has the intestinal fortitude to say it out loud.

I hope the writer will examine what their conclusion means when Congress just funded a new, standing army for DHS/ICE: stateside jurisdiction forces

Don’t heckle the Guard!
Ask humanity-invoking Q’s:
“Every deployment comes at significant costs to you. Is missing your child’s 1st steps, being the one to teach her to ride w/o training wheels, or canceling your yearly father/son camping trip justifiable costs from your observation of LA, or DC?”

The amount of political capital he’s incinerating on Epstein is beyond astounding.

Ofc he’s in the files, that’s not news. He’s going to these extraordinarily shocking lengths to protect the identities of ppl far, FAR more powerful & influential than he could ever dream of being, and he knows it.

If we convinced something like 10% of healthy ppl on employee-sponsored health insurance to forgo their coverage (taking the cash instead), we would collapse the whole damn for-profit healthcare system.

I get the inclination to say, “You should be ashamed for supporting this immoral bill!”
However, pleading to morals is entirely ineffective when hurled at those who are devoid of empathy.

Would you say to Jeffery Dahmer, “Why would you murder him & eat his bicep for lunch? You should be ashamed!”

If you’re wondering why they felt so confident that they wouldn’t be hurt in the mid-terms after passing such a sadistic bill, it’s bc they have no intention of holding federal elections in 2026.

They just funded the agents that will enforce martial law via DHS/ICE.

In normal times the midterm pendulum will rebound hard to over-correct

This time:

masked men are kidnapping ppl in the streets, & disappearing them

billionaires are stealing food & meds from the poor

an illegitimate SCOTUS gave authoritarian, felon POTUS crim immunity

these aren’t normal times

A better strategy: ppl should be calling their reps, demanding that their states be added to the exemption, alongside Alaska.
Demand that your rep stop being a damn coward & fight for your state like Murkowski fights for AK.

“If she can do it, so can you. Do it.”
Every Senator should stand up for their state.

But fighting for your constituents does NOT mean getting a special carve out for YOUR state while actively HARMING the REST of the country.

We are the UNITED States of America.

SENATORS, VOTE NO!

@housedemocrats.bsky.social,
Don’t tell ppl to call their reps, saying “Vote No!”
Instead, ppl should be calling their reps, demanding that their states be added to the exemption, alongside Alaska.
Demand that your rep stop being a damn coward & fight for your state like Murkowski fights for hers.

This scenario, until recently, might have read like a dystopian projection. But after the court’s decision on Friday, it is no longer hypothetical.

Help me start a list of religious objections for back-to-school.

No relationships, other than my own, can be represented in my kids’ curricula & classrooms. (My marriage is special, so ✅)

No legitimizing capitalism, colonialism, industrialization,or wealth accumulation.

My god abhors inequity.

If everyone decided to suddenly start wearing masks again, ICE would have one hell of a time trying to kidnap ppl.

Also, the surveillance state hates masks.

Just a thought.

The richest man on earth was given full access to the $1T DoD swamp.

Instead, he chose to hawk our nat’l parks, defund school lunch, fire NOAA/FEMA/FAA/NIH, and cut granny’s Medicaid, rather than even peak at the corp welfare of the Military Industrial Complex.

He never even graced the Pentagon.

No one supports the Taliban limiting girls' education, or Iran forcing dress codes for women going out in public.

But if you're from a country who *just now* forced a woman who's legally brain-dead to have a baby, and then forced her family to pay for it, you need to shut up about women's rights.

Let me put it plainly.
He’s deploying troops to California bc it’s the 4th largest economy in the world, trailing only the U.S., Germany, & China.

So goes Cali, so goes the nation.

It’s ground zero for invoking martial law, bc the fed gov needs CA.
*Not the opposite.

CA is self-sustainable.
