The squirrel came to my window bird feeder today. I’ve had it out for 10 months and not once have they come to the feeder. My cat was unimpressed.

When I was in grade 7 I had to answer a first grader’s letter to Santa. The little girl asked for her dad to help wash the dishes. When I was 13, I thought this was funny. At 47 it’s kind of horrifying that a little girl took time to ask Santa for that and the reasons behind it.

Do you remember the Treehouse of Horror segment on the Simpsons Twilight Zone parody where Bart is omnipotent and people do whatever they can to keep him happy, such as accepting whatever he says as truth?
The way people act around the orange one reminds me of that.

As someone who will go and verify the most inconsequential information before posting it, seeing this, while not surprising, it’s maddening.

My 8 year old greyhound had a dental cleaning today under anesthesia. Apparently her teeth are healthy. She stood up like Bambi just as she woke up from being under.
At home, she was in this position for about 5 hours. She’s finally gotten up for some water and to go outside.
