After making a complete hash of the rules last week in a 4 player game, I played Unconscious Mind again last night.
Really enjoyed it now that I understand the rules. Fun euro game with quick turns. Initially felt overwhelming with the number of components but plays smoothly once going.

I'd heard good things about Bloodstock for years but this was my first year going. Did it live up to the hype? No, but I still had a good time. Not bad but the worst of the festivals I've been to for a long time.

Feeling exhausted after a weekend at Reggaeland. This has become my favourite festival over the last few years. Well organised, plenty of bars, food stands, toilets etc.
Was really happy that I got to see the legendary Marcia Griffiths, a perfect ending to a fantastic weekend for me.

Dredd was fantastic. Really wish it would've got a sequel. Not looking forward to a Waititi film. Expect he'll put Walter in or something equally daft as a comedy relief sidekick.

Download festival this year was one of my favourites (helped by nice weather after last year's washout).
Solid lineup each day and improvements have been made based on past criticisms.
Highlights of the weekend for me were KoRn, Cradle of Filth, Jinjer and Within Temptation.

The lockdowns over covid and being trapped inside for a long period of time impacted my confidence signicantly.
I stopped sharing any pictures of myself as I hated how I looked.
It's taken a long while but I'm slowly starting to feel better about myself again.

Played in the Wingspan tournament at #UKGE yesterday.
Had a great day, really fun and everyone I played against were friendly and good sports.

Have only made it to 3 gigs so far this year after dislocating my kneecap in Feb so glad to be about healed up in time for festival season.
