We had set up our tree altar for the season and decided to take a few pictures.
I think this was one of the last pictures of Elvira (black lab / pit mix). Siskiyou was not happy having be near Vivi and Elvira was just trying to be a good girl. Ferdinand was his usual oblivious.

Currently rereading a book series about a magical medical examiner and a police detective. In this book they have to (a bit reluctantly) solve the murder of a businessman who sold faulty sickness-prevention charms.

We are super sensitive to the smell of death. Majorly averse to it. Maybe that's to keep us away from things that have killed.
