Also Mimzy calls Alastor Dollface, and based on this description, I doubt that he is very fond of this nickname and it clearly leads all the way back to his human life. He probably tries to appear scary in hell due to the fact that people perceived him as “harmless”.

Also I’d like to add that Alastor’s appearance generally is fairly harmless looking if it weren’t for his powers & smile. He makes himself appear “big and scary” bc he’s afraid of others learning his weaknesses.
