I get this question a lot - at autopsy, we (obviously) can’t assess blood flow the way clinicians can on echo. But there ARE anatomic clues to the diagnosis!
Have you ever considered aortic regurgitation as a cause of sudden cardiac death? This excellent study provides guidance to any autopsy or cardiovascular pathologist in making these diagnoses. Open access for a limited time at: www.sciencedirect.com/science/arti...

As a Canadian I’d add that the world needs to understand that the destruction of the 🇺🇸 engine of research will damage the world - not just the U.S. because knowledge is a global treasure.

🇨🇦 can stand up for our sovereignty AND stand up for U.S. academics, who have contributed so much to us all.
Elected Republicans are cheering from the bleachers as the very institutes of higher learning that allowed them to attain power are destroyed by The Regime.

The average MAGA is thrilled that “the elite” are getting what they view as their comeuppance. They cannot see the long-term consequences.

Interesting: why rationalising with those swept up by right wing propaganda doesn’t work. Before Trump’s conviction 17% of Republicans thought that felons could still be presidents. Once Trump became a felon, 58% changed their minds on the principle.
