I had the absolute pleasure of joining the Women Asylum Seeker Together (WAST) AGM. Founded 20 years ago by Farhat Kahn, a woman seeking asylum herself, we heard about how WAST gives strength, safety and support for women trapped in our hostile immigration system. www.wastmanchester.com/farhat-khan
