Despite the name (of my imprint), I rarely get a chance to see my own #UFO Probably has a human explaination, but I am curious what it could be. (I stopped filming to call a second set of eyes, and missed as it curved east and dimmed, leaving a cloud behing.

@chilluminatipod.bsky.social I was listening to you guys on a run tonight down in the Florida Keys when I noticed a bright light in the sky. (Despite my logo/name Im usually more of Jesse) Managed to capture these photos.

Researching the Everglades for the next J.R.I.C. novel, and learned there was a time when Surveyors "Dined on Steamed Anhinga."
Trying to find more about this, I came across reference to Anhinga as "Water Turkey."
So...I guess, if you want an alternative bird this Thanksgiving, try one of these:

I'm a former HS science teacher. A geology, dinosaur, sci-fi,and nature enthusiast who grew up in national parks is now writing a Middle Grade Mystery series about them.
