I have no (direct) skin in this game but I resigned my Labour Party membership because of that speech.

However, I do despair of the stupidity of the argument that Starmer is no better than Farage.

Sadly, international evidence suggests that argument is simplistic & not true. I am gravely concerned about the vulnerable and believe that ultimately, this law reduces freedom.

I think Starmer has this 100% right. Firstly there are already existing recommendations to implement which he was doing.*
Secondly the advice was no enquiry needed. He asked Casey to look again.
