In the 1250s, records from Ely note an old eel-rent, since commuted to a monetary rent, that local fisheries owed to the bishop. The original rent was for 3,300 sticks of eels.

A stick was a unit of 25. So that works out to 82,500 eels!

Or...you know...enough for a party.

In Russia, hundreds of Porsche cars owned by oligarchs can no longer be started. Porsche has installed an anti-theft device that is connected to satellite navigation. Because Russia has manipulated satellite navigation due to Ukrainian drones, all these cars are now considered stolen.
