Toxicity will be absorbed by and will destroy marine life --> consumed by predators; could potentially cause food chain disruptions including to humans. US unilateral threat going to land is not only an aggressive act of war, could be devastating to the rainforests & its varied, rare inhabitants.

Our oceans are not do not have walls that separate them. Toxicity will initially affect the immediate area and the currents connecting the oceans will carry it in varying degrees throughout the oceanic ecosystem.
