I can’t believe I’m watching interviews of city mayors talking about how they are coordinating with other mayors to discuss how to protect their residents FROM THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES

I know we are “used to it” but it is absolutely insane

So after over 8K complains of sexual assault in the military in 2024 alone, Unqualified Pete Hegseth declares his answer: “No more anonymous complains... no more walking on eggshells.”

Just like Trump, instead of addressing the problem, he is silencing the victims.

There is no bottom. The most catastrophically unqualified cabinet of all time. It’s all a vanity project.

“The most powerful country in the world” decided to give away leadership, values, prestige, influence for entertainment.
Hegseth: "It all starts with physical fitness and appearance. If the secretary of war can do regular hard PT, so can every member of our joint force. Frankly, it's tiring to look out at combat formations and see fat troops. Likewise, it's completely unacceptable to see fat generals and admirals."

Trump: “We want war because we want no wars.”

He sounds like a moron — and worse, the “peace” candidate has dragged us into new wars and turned the Pentagon into his personal Department of War. Dumb and dangerous.

Pritzker: Trump looked at the cameras and asked for me personally to say, Mr. President, can you do us the honor of protecting our city? Instead, I say, Mr. President, do not come to Chicago.

Your remarks about this effort have betrayed a continuing slip in your mental faculties

The Trump administration wants to destroy two satellites that collect data on CO₂ and methane in the atmosphere, apparently because they're afraid of the numbers reported... and they're discovering that farmers are upset because they use this data to help maintain their crops.
Why a NASA satellite that scientists and farmers rely on may be destroyed on purpose
The Trump administration has asked NASA staffers to draw up plans to end at least two satellite missions that measure carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, according to current and former NASA employees.

It’s disturbing that Justice Jackson was left to dissent alone from this legally reckless, constitutionally wrongheaded, and procedurally indefensible use of the Court’s emergency powers. History will vindicate her courageous if lonely stand against this outrage.

Republicans are in the middle of trying to pass Trump's big bill, but it's not a done deal.

They know it's a bad bill, and we need to convince just four of them to stand with working families. If we can do that, we can stop this thing.

If you think this is something new, the first internment camp they sent me and my family to in 1942 was a barbed wire prison called Rohwer. It was located in the swamps of Arkansas.
