it’s more harmful to perpetuate the myth that there’s a trend of people faking it en-masse than it is to assume people are doing their best to achieve clarity. adhd, autism etc are much more common than we think. people who believed they were lazy and broken are finally realising their symptoms.

i dont care that it says you need windows in the system specs, its cruel and utterly unfair and i think people need to quit being apathetic, this game publisher took away something this person bought and paid money for just for trying to run it with no idea this was gonna happen to them.

I wish we could do something about it, sadly i doubt anything will be done to give the game Linux support but at the bare minimum this guy should be unbanned, and i don’t see why we shouldn’t pressure Activision for this.

i can see why you wouldn’t like the designs, the watery-bright designs of “the future” could get old yes, but i think it would remain timeless a lot more than lifeless boxes. i want my devices to have pleasing style and aesthetic put in to them as well as being functionally useful. we can have both

the time these designs were coming around i was still just a kid, but the idea of it was extremely exciting to me. the last machine i used was a windows 95 and seeing the frutiger aero designs of the future on everything was mystifying, the designs helplessly dragged me in.

it’s not childish whoever says that, that’s complete bullshit. i don’t see anything wrong with having something a bit different, and it’s extra great because it has saved us some space to put better things where the bed would normally go on the floor instead!

hey, i don’t have much people to talk to who also have ptsd/cptsd, never mind ptsd in relation to them idiots, so i just wanna say, i relate, im another one of those people traumatised by these awful people. im so sorry. we all deserve so much better.
