This is heartbreaking but having dealt with the NHS over Long Covid and ME/CFS, I am zero percent surprised.
Thanksgiving makes me homesick, but then I remember that ICE is arresting the spouses of American citizens at their green card interviews, and I feel much better about my choices.

Because I don’t have the time or energy to cook Thanksgiving this year (and I have to work), we are going British and having some M&S festive picky bits! I don’t know if I’m excited or distraught by this development.

Just an annual reminder that the rich in America take way more government money in the form of tax breaks than poor and middle class people take in “entitlement programs”. Who the fuck cares if someone gets food stamps that doesn’t need them? The cost is so negligible compared to the tax breaks.
