The ones who aren't true believers in Trump still have a *long* way to go before the damage is so great that they may have to worry about the true believers among their voters not being able to re-elect them, assuming we even have real elections at this point.

I wouldn't get my hopes up for it anytime soon. The Democrats are useless. On the Republican side, a bunch of them are true believers and will never admit Trump did anything wrong no matter what, and are also evil and don't care that common people suffer.

They're Republicans, so Republican voters vote for them.
A lot of people who have lost their jobs and are watching their quality of life decrease in real time will still vote for them because that supercedes everything else.
