The graphic design here is fucking ace
We just launched super fun sci-fi co-op shooter MYCOPUNK. The universe it's set in is very cool and weird, so I put this thing together, inspired by old school game manuals, and loaded it with ~lore~ and other interesting nuggets.

I would have loved to keep every Mythic Carpathia vaesen on single spreads, but it was impossible.
When just the text for a vaesen fills two pages, there is *no way* for me to fit the text *and* the image on one spread.

Why, oh why, did I not go to UKGE? Everyone seems to be having a great time. And I do miss shooting the shit with British game designers over a pint or ten.

If I’m stuck doing layout, not being able to get the spreads just right – I work on something else. And while I do that, my brain ticks away in the background, finding a solution to my problem.
Nearly every time.

Truly the best design advice I can give is to just stop working on something for a bit, even if you are really in a groove.
Your brain is going to do cool stuff with it in the background while you think about literally anything else.

It's amazing (and by amazing, I mean bad) how people who follow and interact with a bazillion of trans gals that actively make OSR stuff and are in their 30's, keep insisting on making long rants about how it is exclusively a scene of old bald bearded man in their 60's and shit

People are finally receiving their Realms of the Three Rings/Keepers of the Elven-rings books – and a lot of them point out how gorgeous they look.
And they do! The art is maybe the best I have ever seen in a TTRPG (❤️ that Galadriel cover). And, if I dare say so, my layout is not too shabby either.

While working on the coming Starter Set for The Lord of the Rings™ Roleplaying, it was decided that the character sheet needed updating.
I’ve tried to fit everything regularly needed during play on the front, leaving the back mostly a bunch of extra space.
