A bit of excitement on my drive this morning. A hot air balloon came low over the road. Aiming for the race course to make an emergency landing. Not the best of photos. Imagining all the passengers tumbling over each other in the basket

Day 9 of our NYC to SF road trip. We have stopped in Gallup if for no other reason that it’s not Albuquerque. We’re staying at the El Rancho Hotel. What a crazy and trippy place! Very olde world Hollywood western. The rooms are small but the woodiness is neverending

Day 8 of our 2-week road trip of the US - stopped in Van Horn, Texas. If you stay, I recommend Hotel El Capitan. Must admit the town’s flashing sign is a mite blinding!

Went to the Naarm Melbourne Protest Trans Youth National Day of Action today with our trans daughter. Empowering to see so many people there and hear some powerful messages from different speakers! Fuck the Queensland govt for endangering trans kids by denying them care!
