no, an entrepreneur will... why are you defending literally the worst job to exist in the UK lol
November 29, 2025 at 8:53 AM
that's the neat thing - jobs can come out of nowhere!

Exactly the same as when all these delivery jobs sprung up from nowhere.

Absolutely cannot believe the number of people in the comments section calling for throwing it in the canal or punting it somewhere... Ridiculous mentality.

A lot of the tech luddites seem to start strong with real issues then quickly devolve into anti everything-new

who in the labour party is pushing deportation??
November 27, 2025 at 11:56 AM
but building one minivan costs 400k, and building 1000 minivans costs 40m. that's where the economies of scale come in for SMRs.

You saying "this SMR is more expensive than other forms of energy" is exactly what James is saying - the benefits come when you build loads of them.

Im not really on socials anymore (a little bit of bsky and I use xcancel.com to check on a few twitter accounts who haven't migrated) and ground.news didnt work as well as I hoped.

I'd like a little bit of bad news if it's relevant to Abundance! Or if you know somewhere else I can get that :)
October 1, 2025 at 10:38 AM
I found the anglofuturism pod on one of their early episodes & was so disappointed when they uncritically hosted someone spouting racist shit (instead of pushing them back on topic to anglofuturism) - turns out they were just racist all along!

Very glad to have found the abundance agenda instead.

JUST USE LAND VALUE CAPTURE OMG WHY ARE WE SO AGAINST DOING WHAT WE DID TO GREAT SUCCESS IN HONG KONG FOURTY-SIX YEARS AGOOOOOOOOOOOOO
September 24, 2025 at 6:56 PM
its not for rejected claims - its for all who cross the channel by boat
September 19, 2025 at 2:06 PM
I dont think their claim has been rejected.

the one in one out is supposed to discourage channel crossings & encourage official routes.

they haven't been deported to their home country, they've been transferred to France, where they'll be encouraged to claim asylum through official means.

beginning to think starmer might be following you

I cant believe so many companies KEEP releasing "real-time translation" that doesn't work
Google Translate has had this feature for ages but it still doesn't work!!

if u actually try and use it in a foreign country, it doesnt work! Needing 2 pairs of airpods PRO is difficult too, most have non-pros

Hong Kong MTR & JR rail use land they own to create malls- different from what you mentioned in the post.

They don't then sell it off to a developer/management company, they keep it & make rent from it.

Dont think it would raise enough to make it free, but could certainly make TfL more profitable
September 4, 2025 at 7:47 PM
it used to be requested that you leave stuff on the train, as they would sweep it w binbags at the end of the journey, and there were no bins in stations.

not sure if thats still recommended, but i think it comes from that
August 30, 2025 at 6:59 PM
got it in time for the train, tyty!

tbh with NPR paying for Mcr airport-Mcr picc tunnel, if HS2 goes to crewe, land value recapture could eeeeasily pay for the crewe to mcr airport part!

even more hs2 cope 😎😎

Ive deleted most socials - what has Labour done to encourage these comments? last I saw was just racists spouting shit
August 19, 2025 at 9:05 PM
um... the proposed method DOESN'T "violate our sovereign waters". it processes asylum seekers in France.
August 18, 2025 at 8:19 PM
arent these people being moved to a UK asylum centre in France, though? So they'll still be processed for Asylum to the UK, just in France?
August 12, 2025 at 5:42 PM
to be clear: ofc i dont support deleting photos OR turning off AI. we should build reservoirs, and I'm glad the current gov finally is after 30 years of nowt
August 12, 2025 at 5:38 PM
Ofc a ridiculous bunch in the replies blaming AI for it all, as if Bluesky doesnt use datacentres lol..
August 12, 2025 at 5:29 PM
£12/yr to be a labour member, or free to sign up to a mailing list - not really comparable.
July 27, 2025 at 11:33 AM
You know it's not £1200pcm tho Jack, it's more like 600 for a room. Most people in town are on 25-35k incomes. it's far from as bleak as the article makes out.
July 22, 2025 at 10:08 AM
just means they're not doing it for the time being. it'll still be investigated
