By Dr. Alex Rockey. 1) Create Content for Small Screens: Design Course Content with a small screen in mind. 2) Build Trust: Establish a sense of consistency to build trust with students through design. 3) Leverage Moments: Create fluid learning experiences so students can make use of the in-between moments of their day. 4) Allow Choice: Give students the chance to choose what device they use to complete assignments. 5) Integrate multimodality: Embrace multimodal assignments. 6) Leverage Mobile-Friendly Tools: Incorporate technologies that are already optimized for mobile use. 7) Play: Test out your course on a phone to get an understanding of the student experience. 8) Communicate: Make sure students know how they can best use their phones for your class. I don't think I'm alone, but the thumbnails Canvas Studio generates for me automatically are terrible. Always. I leave them as is- I think it gives students a little laugh... But they can be changed:) #HigherEd #FacDev
