Today, I've decided to suspend my campaign for Nevada's 1st Congressional district, but I'm not done fighting. Instead, I'm launching my campaign for Nevada State Assembly District 29 to continue to fight to shatter the status quo for ALL Nevadans. Full statement below.

Another day in this country where children die because we are unwilling to do everything in our power to protect them. My heart breaks for the children and the families impacted by another tragic shooting in Minneapolis. 💔

Israel continues to kill more journalists and Palestinians, and all our leaders can go is throw up their hands. If they won't stand up for this, what will they stand up for?

Nevadans are struggling to afford housing, healthcare, groceries. Billionaires, CEOs, and their bootlickers say we can't afford it, but I call bullshit. Not only CAN we afford it for everyone, our leaders CHOOSE not to. In Congress, I won't choose to uphold the suffering of hardworking people.

To all of the dedicated parents, teachers, and students in Clark County, have a great first day of school. In these times, things are extra chaotic, and there are so many little things to worry about. Y'all are the backbone of this community. I wish you all a safe, wonderful 1st day and school year.

Yesterday's news, my thoughts: Joe Lombardo and Donald Trump hate Nevada. Nevada doesn't stand for this kind of hate. They'd rather blame immigrants instead of themselves for ruining cost of living for our community.

ICE is out of control and destroying our communities. If you are in the Las Vegas area, join me at Henderson's city council meeting to demand Henderson cancel its ICE contracts. Tomorrow August 5th, at 4 pm. Located at Henderson City Hall. Public comment is at the end of the meeting.

I love this country, but it is beyond frustrating We are supposed to be the land of the free, but most people in this country are not free. They are financially shackled to a broken system that rewards the few while they can't afford healthcare, housing, and food. That's a system we can't accept.

Donald Trump took a huge dump on Las Vegas and our service workers. Him antagonizing our allies, the tariffs, and fear from mass deportations have made it much harder for them to get tips. "No tax on tips, but good luck getting them."

My run for Congress isn't about me, it's about us. It's about us creating a future where we all have a fair chance in this country. We will do it together.
